Another great challenge. My lucky number was 6, here's my solution:

 During the verification task, I found a couple of numbers that instead reached 0 but most went to Kaprekar's constant. My macro tools are in the container:

One of my favorites! I went with the 'discard leading zeroes' option detailed here so there are a few values that don't converge but they're consistent with the ones listed in the article
