My solution.

quick challenge

i was first tempted to do some data cleaning by parsing the dates, but we don't have to care about that. Most of these challenges require a top 3 or whatever and we can get there with a sort+sampe combo but for question 2 I decided to use the good ol' multirow+filter combination as it allows us to discern tied ranks (if there are any)

Rather straight forward. Used regex to extract out team names for P1.
