This week is part 2 of the challenge “Blowing in the wind”.
On December 30, 2021, a windstorm moved through some of the Front Range counties of Colorado. One Alteryx associate found herself driving back home in the storm and being “blown in the wind”. And she got the idea for a two parts challenge.
Two datasets are provided:
- One input with data to parse before mapping the wind speeds.
- One input already parsed to map the wind speeds directly.
You can use either one.
For this challenge, you will use the latitude and longitude coordinates to plot the wind speeds on a map.
Can someone help me? I run these lat/long coordinates through Create Points and it gives me points in China. I tried changing longitude to East, and it didn't help.
Played around with the formulas a bit to make it more interesting.
