My original question was motived by the need to simplify and shorten titles to facilitate charting etc.

Let me modify the scenario a bit to reflect real world data...

Using the example provided by  @MarqueeCrew as a start point...  I would not want You reduced to Y.  How can us adjust for the type of scenarios?  For example, what if the start point is "Universal UAS Ground Control".   I would want the output to be "Unvrsl UAS Grnd Cntrl" and NOT "Unvrsl US Grnd Cntrl".  How might you incorporate a list of "don't modify words" into your workflow?

@MarqueeCrew No, but that's awesome. I'm getting my first later this year to document family trips and adventures.  I've done enough market, go to market, and competitive assessments on UAS systems for various non-consumer applications.
