This was a tricky one, thanks for the challenge!  I leveraged the solution from @RolandSchubert.  Thank you, Roland, for showing the way to use a minimum number of steps to solve the challenge.   I only tweaked the units formulas slightly to take out 'ToString' references as the fields were already string type. (just in a couple of formulas).

Solution attached below - really satisfying challenge to complete; probably not the most efficient solution here but managed to make it dynamic for values up to hundreds-of-billions
