Can I be honest - i did not enjoy this challenge.  It's too manual labour intensive to do in Alteryx.  If ever I had a similar challenge in real life, I'd sort it out more in Excel first.  Otherwise it takes ages in Alteryx.  And in real life the format would no doubt change each time, so you would have to change your Alteryx flow.
