Method 1 - usually try to filter as many records as possible before doing the main 'work'. In this case, that was not necessarily the most efficient way to do it as I had to manipulate the start and end dates with formulas to filter out the correct records by year.

Method 2 - may be more efficient even though dealing with more records.
As usual, love that there are multiple ways to solve!
