I’ve used both Tableau Prep and Alteryx, and this is the first time I’ve encountered a problem that Tableau Prep can’t solve directly. While a solution exists, Tableau Prep imposes a hard limit of 1 million rows. Meanwhile, Alteryx handles this without any issues.
I’m running an M2 Mac Mini with just 8GB of RAM. Alteryx works seamlessly in a virtual machine, yet Tableau Prep can’t even run natively on macOS. That’s just absurd.
