Calling All Community Members: Submit Your Ideas for Our 2025 Weekly Challenges!

Hello, Community Members!

It is that exciting time of the year again when we invite you to shape our 2025 Weekly Challenges by submitting your most creative and thought-provoking data analytics ideas. Your contributions bring real-world use cases to life and are the heart of our Weekly Challenges!

We are specifically seeking challenges tailored for Designer Desktop or Designer Cloud. If you have ever encountered a tricky data analytics problem in your daily work and wondered how others might solve it—this is your chance to turn it into a challenge for the Community!

And there is more! If you submit your challenge idea by March 31, 2025, and your challenge aligns with any of the topics listed below, you will not only receive the Weekly Challenge Contributor Badge but also be eligible to win limited special prizes! This year, we are looking for submissions focused on data analytics challenges in these specific industries:

📊 Financial Services: Risk analysis, compliance, fraud detection

🛍️ Retail & Consumer Goods: Sales forecasting, customer insights, supply chain optimization

🏥 Healthcare: Patient data analysis, operational efficiency

🏭 Manufacturing: Production planning, predictive maintenance

📡 Telecommunications: Network optimization, targeted marketing campaigns

⚡ Energy & Utilities: Asset management, demand forecasting, reporting

However, do not limit your creativity to this list. If you have any other creative ideas for challenges, we are happy to receive them!

How to Submit Your Challenge:

Ready to share your idea? Please submit it through this link. Remember to complete the following steps:

• Include a dataset that is free of sensitive or personally identifiable information.
• Cite your data source to maintain transparency.
• Frame your challenge within a real-life scenario.
• Annotate your workflow to clarify the function of each tool.
• Submit your Designer Desktop workflow as a .yxzp file.
• If you can solve the challenge in Designer Cloud, submit the workflow as a .json file.
• Attach all relevant materials, including datasets, workflows, and a detailed problem description in a Word document to your submission form.

I submitted mine as a Part 1, but my Part 2 that I'm hoping to submit soon is aimed as an App and Macro spin on the Part 1 solution.
