Challenge #88: Counting Combinations

I am getting the count 19 as opposed to the solution of 12. I looked at the workflow of the solution and I've seen a "Sort" tool as a vital tool to get the answer. Those anyone can explain why a sort tool would be essential in the "solution provided?"

I got a different number of combinations - I didn't realise i needed to get the concatenated in the same order  for the distinct count to work
