Hi everyone!

 

Newbie here. I looked at the solution because this challenge befuddled me. Is someone able to explain why we would need to use the

Sort tool

even though the challenge advised the order did not matter?

 

I tried it without the tool and it gave me a count different to the solution. Just want to understand how it works!

To my knowledge it would matter. if you concatenate alteryx will read the row as one whole string. So you transpose the table. then sort so that any row that contained the same items will be in the same order. then concatenate and group by order ID.
