There it is. I did it. As an Alteryx beginner I struggled a bit, but got it done. I was  bit worried halfway through, as I wasn't sure if one were to assume that soup/salads should also be seen as sides. Luckily I didn't assume, and followed the brief on face value and got the correct result.

Lookup Table for food categorization and order flag--> Join based on new result --> parse and filter date --> Sum total meals --> sum meals flagged with food, drink, and side --> sum the tickets meeting criteria --> join results on record position --> total meals / flagged meals

Interesting... I thought this should have been smooth sailing, but ended up getting quite different numbers. Looking forward to seeing what others have done, as always!

Ah I see - I did June inclusive... Also made an error including pre-June data in my total and percentage of fields. But that there is why these challenges are helpful!
