I did an extra step to check if my output was a spatial match to the solution and it was! I really enjoy the spatial tools!

Decided I really wanted to use a Batch Macro!

I went through a lot of Spatial blocks trying to decide which one would do the job, trying out creating Convex Hulls etc., before realising that the Poly-Split would work nicely. After that I missed the trick of filtering which Polys have holes, and instead sorted and selected the Poly with the biggest area.

Happened to have watched the hour session on spatial tools last week, so wasn't too far removed from that.

Quite a surprising one actually, I didn't expect this to be a one (two) tool workflow.

Spoiler

The magic is in the PolySplit tool. I assumed this tool would have been the case, as we needed to get rid of the hole. However I've learnt about the 'Detailed Regions' functionality in the process.
