Interesting behaviour in the formula tool.

As an experiment: I introduced two new columns, Date_Out, and Date_out. The difference was the capital letter of O.

I thought I have to use a selection tool to get rid of the string field. But, Alteryx takes the first column's name+date type and 2nd column's value.

I know what I was doing is not a good practice, but the above behaviour might be a bug for Alteryx.

The reason, I created a second identical column, was because I thought I can change the type of data that way.

In the end, I combined the two formula.

For some reason the date converted to yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss (and i dont know how to change that) so i had to use the date time tool twice.

Here is my solution. I've done it in two ways 1) only with the Formula Tool 2) with Formula and DateTime Tool. ; )
