Thanks for the real RegEx challenge! It was a good exercise to explore the expression editor and formulas in formula tool! But the real challenge was the parsing date with the RegEx.

The only issue I have with this one is that the solution only works for this data set.  There are dozens of other date formats that can be read by humans but won't work with this workflow.  That said, if someone gave me something messier than this, I'd probably send it back for them to fix their data, so I'm not going to try to further generalize it.

Wow, more challenging that I expected, even for an Advanced one!  Started my regex journey :)
