SUBMIT YOUR IDEAI figured out why some solvers are getting different answers than the provided solution.
If you use a Parse tool to extract the "year" of the release date, you won't get any "null" values in the year column. So that makes the comment about ignoring null values irrelevant. If you use the Text to Columns tool to extract the year of the release date, then you will, because not all of the release dates are in the same format (i.e, 27 Oct 1973, vs. October 1973 vs. 1973). The second and third option will put the year into the second or first column in the Text to Column field and it will give a null value in the third column, so that row gets filtered out on null values.
Using a Parse tool and REGEX to get the 4-digit year keeps all of the records into the rest of the workflow. Doing this will result in different answer than the provided one/the solution.
