8 mins!  I whizzed through this one.

For the characteristics, I used a sample to skip the first two rows, then a dynamic rename to get the headers in, binned off the nulls at the bottom of the page (probably didn't need to), filtered on beginner and off to the join. 
For the locations, I used a text to columns to split the site field, cleansed the data of trailing and leading white space, filtered for summer sites and off to the join.

I think mine is probably the same as everyone else. Nice and simple:

I skipped the first two records and dynamically re-named from the first row of data. I then split the locations on "-" and removed the whitespace. Joined on location and filtered those locations that were suitable for beginners and were in the summer season. Simple.

I used Find and Replace as the Join tool since it allows for join on partial text matches which is perfect for this exercise.
