Wasn't clear whether "id" was specific to the athlete so I added a check to make sure that an athlete didn't compete in multiple sports (looking at name, dob, height, and weight). There were bad totals based on adding a number to a null in some rows.
Spoiler
I noticed that the "Total Row" function in Crosstab ignores nulls. I think this is because it totals the values before pivoting, so the null values haven't been created yet.
