Since I am not doing challenges in a chronological order this one was quick as I already did something similar in one of the later challenges.

 

@Laurap1228, I think that's a good question as what is the best way to check results with spatial challenges. In this particular challenge if the splatters with area <2sq.mi is not filtered out, the shape of the built polygon looks the same as the shape of the output polygon. So I used Spatial info tool to compare the area between the output polygon and the one I got, which I think is a sufficient check for this challenge.
