I was interested in whether it was best practice to sum the daily whale data prior to the join (adding an extra tool) or join first (which required a bigger join). Tried it both ways, and the former won by 1.9 seconds--the extra summarize way took 4 seconds while the bigger join took 5.9 seconds. So now I know!🙂
