Hello Altryex community,

Here is my first Alteryx solution for challenge 22.

My solution is just slightly different than the posted one.  And I don't know why I can't get my join tool that checks my solution against the provided table to put all of the records into the Join.  The lefts and rights are exactly the same.  Decided to not spend any more time trying to figure that out.

Every time I see the old icons and the vertical layout I go "eeeeeeeeew!" in a manly and entirely adult way.

That aside, I solved the challenge using Regex, my old friend.

Basically, I gave every row a record ID, then used the REgex tool to parse out the field using tokenize to rows on the "atm2." string. I then split the remains to columns using a "." as the delimiter and removed the "]". I then simply summed the values grouped by the record ID.

Again though...eeeeeeeew.
