Kudos to @Blake for figuring out the difference between our solutions and the posted answer. I know it's not planned, but I liked this idea of reverting the formula tool back to double, which would have prevented the issue here! Thanks to @jdunkerley79, I've tweaked a couple js files so that my formulas always default to double.
