Challenge #206: Hotel Reservations

Using the provided dataset, calculate the average hotel stay and count the number of hotel reservation IDs for all hotel reservations that were not canceled and at least one day in length.

@Johnemery when I grow up , I want to Alteryx like you lol.

Thanks for this simplistic solution. I was struggling to simplify my solution i two areas:

1. How to Parse the date from Arrival Year, Month, and day of the month using a single tool

2. How to filter reservations that were canceled and that had a length of stay> 1 in the same formula tool

Your solution opened my eyes to how both of these could be achieved.

Thanks, a lot. I haven't watched your Youtube video yet, but I intend to.

I'm now reviewing your workflow and wanted to ask why you wanted to create an extra field for reservation_status_date

Could this be 2 field formula instead of 3? Just wanted to learn more abut your logic. Thank you
