This was a good challenge. Made me stop and think about how to go about it. Like usual, regex came to save the day.

Hmm, not quite happy about some of the things being asked here

1) Why do the dates need to be changed from the perfectly fine format of yyyy-mm-dd to mm/dd/yyyy? This doesn't sound like a good idea
2) For the type of KG, the numbers end with a hyphen in the original data, in the output they are negated. Is there anything that I've missed?

I had my heart set on using dynamic renaming for the fields and not hard coding them in a Select tool. That added some complexity.
