This was challenging for me as someone who doesn't have to use regex.

 

I also find it odd that there is not a more automated way to handle strings containing standard numeric formatting (rather than using regex or character replacement to strip-out commas).

 

Also, I couldn't bring myself to convert away from ISO8601 date format.
