Fun! Bonus question wasn't entirely clear, but after a few approaches, I got it to work.

Continuing the conversation on the bonus question. Don't want to spoil it for people who haven't tried it yet.

The answer in the solution doesn't seem correct to me, but I'm not sure that just taking the maximum count of lifts at a given time, DOW, and month is the best answer either. If the question is framed as "what is the best time,DOW,month to see at least one lift in an hour, then we might want to consider which combination of  time, DOW, and month had the maximum number of different days with lifts. There was only one August Sunday that had lifts in the 14th hour and 7 Saturdays in September that had lifts in the 15th hour, but there were 13 Thursdays in September that had lifts in the 17th hour. So if I pick a Thursday in September, I have a 13/16 chance of seeing a lift in the 17th hour, compared to 7/18 for Saturdays in September in the 15th hour. (I checked the total # of days in the sample.) I don't claim to be a statistician -- am I on the right track or am I missing something?

Sad to miss this at Inspire I must have been doing a different session (So much good stuff, FOMO kicking in! Looking forward to Amsterdam in 2020).

I had a lovely view of Tower bridge from my hotel room that went someway to justify the £240 per night price tag.

I even risked dangling my phone out of the crack in the window to try and get a decent photo, failed but didn't drop the phone so that was a bonus. Didn't see the bridge lift even once though.

Anyway very enjoyable challenge, glad to have the target answers I would have struggled to understand what the challenge was looking for without them.
