Here's my PEMDAS compliant, non-macro solution.

All the heavy lifting is done in the Multi-Row tool, which converts IX to 9 and adds the brackets necessary so the Summarize tool can create a mathematically correct formula to pass to the dynamic replace tool.

This one was good fun, but ended up getting quite involved! I think I ended up over-complicating things at the end with a string-to-formula macro, but it does work!
