I started out trying to use the win percentage as the dependent variable, which got really close to the solution.

Tricky!  My first time with the predictive tools.  Spent most of the time researching to find out which were the proper tools to use.  Kudos to the R Group who've managed to make a tightly integrated suite of tools.  Output of one goes straight into the input of another.
