Here is my solution. I quickly set up a normal workflow as solution. Struggled a little bit with the open definition.

Struggled to get the right conditions to count the number of opened per month and realized that you should not leave extra empty rows in the macro input to update. Won't be forgetting this lesson anytime soon.
