I'm going to go out on a limb and say there are specific instructions missing from this, as you need to apply a unique or grouping function to specify the first class in which an item appears.

There is no instruction to say if the class should be the one in which the item appears first, or most frequently.

I checked the solution and the use of a unique tool just says take the first instance but no logic is specified as to why.

Anyway, probably the same as most on here:

I think there needs to be an instruction in here to say how the class is chosen.

Still, I got there in the end.

There seems to be an issue with the output on this, or at least its definitely not specified that the first alphabetical category should be used. This challenge may want to be reviewed, as especially as a beginner challenge - it should be specified what is expected.
