Please find the attached for the solution. Can anyone tell me the difference between using data cleansing and parse as looks like they provide similar result.

Hi @anhtran, the way I look at it is:

Data Cleansing tool can only cleanse out a limited characters mentioned in the configuration - mostly whitespace, line breaks, all letters as a whole or all numbers. But parsing using RegEx allows you to come up with any patterns that you want to parse out.

Say for example you want to get "AC2" from "ABC123", its possible through RegEx but not through data cleansing.

My solution puts a space instead of just deleting the special character to avoid running the words together.
