Without knowing where it was going, I could not think of a way to test for error to allow iteration, so just changed the "m" variable.  Watched distance between max and min of x and y axes (I suppose I could have tested that and iterated).  Ultimately figured on 22 as 2019 - 1997.

- Manually iterated posx and posy with y=mx + b
