Took quite a few hours but managed with a standard macro end multi row formulas in the end.

This was a good practice to try out the multi-row formula with grouping. My approach was as follows:

  • Lookup the store priority into the store and item-wise demand sheet and sorting basis item and priority
  • Lookup the item-wise initial stock in the warehouse
  • Create a running total of item requirement with a grouping on item
  • Using a multi-row tool to restrict the overall requirement of a material to the initial stock
  • Using the multi-row tool again to backout the demand for each store
