We're actively looking for ideas on how to improve Weekly Challenges and would love to hear what you think!
Submit FeedbackHere is my submission; it's really a tough challenge, but happy with the result, slightly different on the human population, but it comes with the same month.
Iterative Macro Fun!
Compared quite a few answers posted, I don't agree with the original posted solution. As the question states 2 rabbits start at age 0, then it should be 4 month before the first female is mature to reproduce. Most solution I've checked all start to reproduce at first iteration.
So given the wording of the question, I will stick with my solution which achieve double population at 2023-08-02 instead. Also I've used min(MalePop, FemalePop) to calculate reproduction, assume one male cannot reproduce with more than one female at each iteration.
