Solved! With a helping hand. I needed help with this one, but I learned a lot about the Reporting and the Interface palettes.

For my solution, I joined the two inputs by the brewery id. I then have radio buttons that disable the containers "Search Beer By State", and "Search Beer By Style". I also use the data from the join to prepare the data for my dropdown.

Here's my solution - 2 years too late but that didn't stop me from trying!

Couldn't figure out how to make the selections cumulative - State AND style.

Admittedly not the spec. Also I created an output for the state and style lists because I'm too lazy to put them in by hand.

The interface tools are great to create self-service analytic applications for users.

I always hate the presentation of the browse tool in an analytic app so I built out a simple report to display instead.
