The Append Fields tool was the key for me here!

My solution. Decided to use a spatial approach.

Really enjoyed this challenge! Getting much better with the spatial tools now. I tried a batch macro for each 0 row, but realised I didn't need it in the end.

This was an interesting one. I'm sure I could just have written a combination of multi-row and multi-field formulas to arrive at the same conclusion - but that would have defeated the object of using the spatial tools.

Not the most elegant solution, but it works!

This was fun. I had a hard time at first picturing how to do this with spatial tools. But once I figured out a way to do it, it was easier with spatial than by identifying and averaging cells based on column and row numbers.
