I tried to select 8 people first then ended up selecting 7 and filling the 8th person. Numbers, how do they work? 685 appears to be the max challenges with 8 people and a budget of $1.5MM.
This is semi-handcrafted. First of all, I applied the lowest price to the lowest rank. This immediately excluded the four highest price records. Then I chose the best seven I could afford, and found one person to fill in the rest of the budget.
799 challenges for 1,500,000
Used an iterative macro and price per challenge to get to the 685 team, surprised my method got the best team, optimisation tool next time!
