Great exercise on taking manual tasks and creating user interfaces. Bonus included.

I maybe broke the rules a little by replacing the text input tool with a generate rows, but seemed like a useful simplification in the end.
Done with a nice interface for date selections with no manual inputs required. Note that for my approach, date 2 is after date 1. Also includes some customization and description of macro for some finishing touches.
I have solved but taken help form @LordNeilLord 's post and learned interesting facts of generates row tool.
