Challenge #108: HeLa Cell Multiplication

Basic core Alteryx solution.  No Macros.  No highfalutin math.  Logs are for building homes with ;)

 

Slight difference with other core solutions having to do with the number of rows generated and how the start and end dates are calculated

Fun challenge!

 

I think a great new tool would be a cross between the Generate Rows Tool and the Multi-Row formula Tool, where you can update the value of multiple fields with formulas each time it cycles through the loop and even refer to previous rows. I guess that's what Macros are for...

I guess the easiest solution is to calculate the result mathematically, but I also took this as an opportunity to practice creating iterative macros!
