If so, we are looking for a cleared data and Alteryx-savvy “people person” in the DMV metro area to fill the role of Data Scientist for Datalytix. This position is hybrid/remote as IC clients require on-site support.

As one of our team of Data Scientists, you’ll leverage your extensive experience and knowledge of the IC, data wrangling and management, and advanced analyses and visualization to drive greater mission value for clients.
Core Responsibilities
- Understand the data science and intelligence needs of prospects and customers so as to deliver the best solution to meet client objectives.
- Work directly with clients and Datalytix Solution Engineers (SEs) to develop and deliver cutting-edge data science and AI/ML-driven solutions that leverage the Alteryx Platform and other tools as needed.
- Provide consulting, coaching, and training sessions that aid in the development of our client's knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to properly master Alteryx
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to address new and existing end-user requirements on an ongoing basis.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or data science
- TS/SCI-cleared
- Must be Alteryx Core Certified; Advanced Certified and Alteryx Server certified is a big plus.
- Experience with big data frameworks, data modeling, machine learning, algorithms, and artificial intelligence (AI)
- Exceptional analytical and innovative problem-solving skills
- 5+ years of consulting experience in data science and IT for IC organizations
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and native English written communication skills with an ability to effectively convey Alteryx product and technical information and concepts with both business and technical audiences
- Ability to effectively collaborate with others to deliver quality services and drive optimal outcomes
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% (no travel is required in current pandemic situation)
Valued Skills

- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or a similar product or language
- Experience with Snowflake and Tableau
