Almost a year ago, we started the journey to get this user group off the ground and we are pleased with our turnout at each meeting. On Friday, May 2 nd , we held our third official meetup in downtown Tulsa with over 30 users in attendance representing 9 different companies in the Tulsa metro!
Special thanks to Capitalize Analytics providing the group with lunch from Chipotle! Additional thanks to our talented speakers, Steve Rex with QuikTrip, and Kyleigh Arthur with Capitalize.
Presentation Recaps
Steve Rex - QuikTripSteve Rex with QuikTrip shared information about how to use API’s to pull in information from the web and Alteryx Server by simply using the Server API or Download tool in Alteryx Designer. By connecting to APIs, it potentially gives Alteryx users a faster way to connect to the data they need.

Kyleigh Arthur with Capitalize Analytics gave a presentation about automation along with a demonstration on the RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Tool called UiPath, and how it works alongside Alteryx Designer. She gave real world examples of when to use Alteryx Designer, UiPath, or a combination of both tools.
Capitalize provides several webinars on RPA with UiPath on their website. The links are included below, as well as a list on the last slide of the presentation (attached below).

We will look for openings in July for our next meetup and will talk to the Oklahoma City User Group to see if we can host a meeting with both groups.
If anyone would like to learn about specific topics or have ideas for a future meeting, please let us know - we would love to hear your feedback, this is your user group!
Stay tuned and thank you for being a part of this TAUG!
