The Senior Data Analyst will be a key contributor to a team that builds and maintains Statara’s suite of data and analytic products. The Senior Data Analyst maintains and improves Statara’s data sets, conducts ad-hoc data analysis projects for both internal and client-facing use, participates in the development of predictive models, and contributes to the development of data exploration and visualization tools. The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with the technical and client-facing teams at Statara and can expect significant training and support to learn internal procedures. Ideal candidates will have experience in the following disciplines:
Data analysis using Alteryx
Technical and non-technical writing
Duties and Responsibilities:
Use Alteryx to query, blend, and summarize individual-level data to produce counts and other analysis.
Collaborate across teams to build and maintain Statara’s modeling datasets, ensuring full coverage, quality, and timely completion.
Parse, clean and organize complex raw data into functional formats.
Provide quality control and peer review for analytical products developed by teammates.
Attend, participate and where appropriate lead client meetings/conference calls.
Manage time to meet internal and client-driven timelines.
Coordinate with other teams directly to develop and execute custom projects as needed.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance processes, established procedures, project requirements and service level agreements/expectations.
Data Analyst Skills and Qualifications:
Experience using Alteryx to develop new workflows, apps, macros and reports.
Strong technical writing skills, and an ability to translate complex statistical information to a non-technical audience.
Previous work building predictive models or developing custom analysis from large data sets.
Prior targeting or statistics experience.
Commitment to open, honest, and transparent communication.
Strong attention to detail.
Team player who is also able to work independently under light supervision.
At least 3 years in a full-time work environment performing data analysis or other data-related work.
