As the AEM and our clients’ trusted advisor and coach, you will deliver post-sales services and be a team leader who drives a positive Alteryx user experience, help clients optimize the power of Alteryx products, and identify opportunities to leverage our technical solutions. As AEM, you’ll share the best ideas, innovations, and capabilities of Alteryx to drive greater business value for our clients. You’ll welcome and guide new Datalytix enablement clients. You’ll act as their key technical Alteryx advisor; provide usage recommendations; onboard new users; help users automate workflows; deliver demos; support our advanced analytics and data science technical teams with developing proof-of-concept (POCs) solutions using Alteryx; and lead in-person and virtual packaged and customized Alteryx training sessions.
AEM Core Responsibilities
Account Development & Management
Be the go-to demo and post-sales services technical presenter, expert, leader, and coach for potential and existing clients; understand client use-cases; and show how the use cases can be implemented using Alteryx
Act as a technical leader for the Alteryx platform to assist with troubleshooting production issues as needed
Conduct discovery and assist the technical team with executing Alteryx technical proofs-of-concept and roadmaps that provide value and enable client to meet their objectives
Demonstrate solutions in Alteryx leveraging data science and analytics with engaging storytelling and technical accuracy
Advise prospects on what data is needed and the data collection, preparation, and processing tasks needed to produce their desired results
Develop knowledge of Alteryx product messaging and a deep technical knowledge of products and capabilities to expand Alteryx post-sales services and market footprint
Establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each assigned customer and drive continued value of our products and services.
Become an in-house expert on the Alteryx Platform and Server, Designer, Connect, and Intelligence products/tools. Stay up to date on product releases and new features.
Curriculum Design, Coaching and Training
Provide coaching and training sessions that aid in the development of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to properly master Alteryx
Deliver Alteryx Certified packaged and/or customized virtual and in-person training sessions for individual clients, large and small groups, new Datalytix hires and other team members, as needed
Scope and lead hands-on evaluations with clients to baseline Alteryx skills and ensure progressive learning and engagement with the platform
Use our library of resources, design, develop, update, and deliver standard training sessions and webinars
Provide training modules that will include customized content, system demonstrations, and hands-on practical exercises
o Manage and administer training calendar and scheduling of client training sessions
o Develop, deliver, and maintain data specific workshops to support meeting new and existing end-user operational mission and day-to-day duties
o Design and develop supporting training documentation
· Provide first-line chat support for trainee’s questions around self-service analytics and data fluency concepts.
· Conduct regular “Alteryx Office Hours” and 1-on-1 virtual coaching sessions as needed
· Develop original written and video content to promote the Alteryx Practice in conjunction with marketing and business development teams
· Provide technical review and quality assurance for content.
Advanced proficiency with Alteryx is required.
Must be Alteryx Core Certified with the ability to be Advanced Certified in the first 60 days of employment.
Alteryx Server certified is a big plus, or your willingness to become Server certified is required (Datalytix will provide training and support).
3+ years of consulting and work experience in data and analytics process automation using Alteryx
Exceptional analytical and innovative problem-solving skills with an ability to focus on quality work and details
A self-starter with a passion for excellence, who will find new and creative ways to bring value to our customers.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with an ability to effectively convey Alteryx product and technical information and concepts with both business and technical audiences
Ability to effectively collaborate with others to deliver quality services and drive optimal outcomes
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to travel up to 50% (no travel is required in current pandemic situation)
Experience with Snowflake and Tableau or willingness to gain familiarity
Proficiency in SQL, Python or similar product or language
