The JPMC Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) Business Intelligence & Analytics Team is responsible for driving a metrics and analytics capability across GTI and leading analytic efforts to support the business, drive positive outcomes, and effect change. The team builds and manages impactful analytic assets for a number of stakeholders and works with those stakeholders to drive desired change.

 

Key Responsibilities Include

 

  • Structuring analytics to identify potential opportunities for change, including the identification of the key measures that will move the needle for specific GTI products specifically focused on the Data Center Exit Program
  • Leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau and QlikView and data transformation tools such as Alteryx ( Alteryx experience is a must) to build impactful dashboards for leadership and GTI stakeholders
  • Design and build reliable data pipelines to Extract, Transform and Load large datasets using toolsets such as Alteryx, Python etc.
  • Automate data sourcing through code (such as Python) or ETL Tools (such as Alteryx)
  • Identify analytics data storage requirements
  • Model analytical data according to industry standard warehouse architecture (such as star schemas)
  • Working with stakeholders on requirements for key business metrics, visualization, delivery and enabling actionable insights

 

Qualifications Include

 

  • Must have Solid Experience using Alteryx
  • Solid experience in data sourcing, transformation and clean up, incl. use of data ETL tools, e.g., Alteryx (preferred - Alteryx Core Certified, Alteryx Server and Alteryx Designer v. 2020 experience)
  • At least 3 years of experience in data querying using API, ODBS connections, Access DB and Excel VBA
  • At least 3 years experience developing analytics, data visualizations, e.g., Tableau
  • Coding experience a plus, e.g., SQL, HTML, CSS, Python, JavaScript
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Applied Statistics, Mathematics or similar)
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
  • Ability to analyze a company's big-picture data needs
  • Practical understanding of Software Development Lifecycle, Agile, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering and related tools, Jira, Kanban Board
  • Strong project management skills, incl. ability to prioritize, manage complex workstreams
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration capability
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, incl. ability to boil down complex/ technical concepts
  • Understanding of infrastructure technology a plus, e.g., datacenter, compute, storage, database, network, mainframe
