The Giving Sciences group within One & All covers research, analytics and insights on charitable giving. This Associate Analyst will be part of the Giving Sciences team which provides data-driven, statistically-sound research and analytics insights for all agency client groups. The primary focus of this position is to assist in the delivery of multichannel reporting and analytics projects.
Assist in the creation of standardized reports, analyses, and presentations using templates and techniques in SPSS, SQL, R, Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, and/or other similar software.
Manage projects for Giving Sciences team, using Workfront project management tool.
Acquire, transform, and provide quality control checks for data.
Utilize a high degree of critical thinking when analyzing data and trends, ensuring accuracy.
Maintain and document analytical methods and standards.
Complete all other analytics administration duties as needed.
Instills diversity, equity and belonging principals to ensure a respectful, accepted, and valued treatment of all.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, social sciences, etc.).
Possess a high degree of logic and critical thinking skills.
0-3 years of experience – this is considered an entry-level analytics role.
Marketing agency knowledge and/or non-profit experience a plus.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI a plus.
Knowledge of data analysis and query-building a plus.
