So I already had R on my computer when Alteryx was installed. It seems like Alteryx installed R in the "Alteryx" folder and is not using the base r that was already there. Not a big deal however, I can't figure out how to either:
a: Point Alteryx to my updated r version or
b: update the base r in the Alteryx folder
Any ideas?

Hi @jbh1128d1,
Changing R version delivered with Alteryx is not a supported option. This is because Predictive and Prescriptive tools have been tested with a particular version of the packages. Upgrading R environment may introduce new behaviours or removed functionalities and is therefore not advisable.

Hi
There are a lot of useful packages which are only supported in R 3.4.
When can we have official upgrade to R 3.4?
Hey @gururajb,
Alteryx Designer 2018.2, currently downloadable from https://licenses.alteryx.com comes with R 3.4.4.

Hi @PaulN,
When will the Alteryx update the R to 3.5?
The case is that I found that the R Package "caret" latest version only support R3.5 instead of R3.4.4.
Thanks,
Max
