Our Q4 User Group meeting featured two Alteryx ACEs with content for a wide spectrum of user backgrounds.

Treyson Marks, Alteryx ACE and Senior Analytics Engineer with Seek Data, provided deep insights into querying the MongoDB database that powers Alteryx Server. Treyson showed how to find information on jobs, users, performance, and more.

John Hollingsworth, Alteryx ACE and GIS Director at Clear Channel Outdoor, took our users on a step-by-step tutorial on how to use the Download tool to scrape business locations from a national retailer. Often Alteryx is used to query data via documented APIs. However, it is also useful when iteratively scraping website widgets such as location finders. And of course, the data preparations tools in Alteryx are perfect for parsing and cleaning the data.
