From bringing best practices proven throughout decades of software development to talking about Alteryx's cloud based future with Snowflake, this sure was one action packed user group meeting!!
Our first presenter was Sean Adams, Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management. His talk, "Peanut Butter and Jelly: Bringing Software Best Practices to Alteryx", focused on how tried and true best practices from software development could be applied to Alteryx. Simplification, normalization, code review, peer reviews, and so much more was discussed. Check out the video if you missed it!
Our second presentation, "Alteryx Powered by Snowflake", was done by Tom Larsen and Nick Haylund. Not only did we get to see how Alteryx Designer Cloud works with Snowflake in this presentation, we also got to see an innovative use case showing 3D geo modeling done by Alteryx and fly around a mountain similar to the way you would on a video game! It was absolutely incredible!
