The first Alteryx Public Sector User Group Meeting on August 28th was a great success, with an Alteryx Inspire Conference Recap theme, Tips and Tricks, and an excellent guest speaker!  As mentioned, we would like to provide links to the webinar recording, as well as links to resources that were highlighted during the meeting.

Tom Burkat, Co-Founder and CTO of Northstrat, gave an excellent presentation regarding how his company trailblazed Alteryx at the DoD.  He provided many insights into overcoming challenges in order to put the best solution in place, and some of the main takeaways are:

Next, Margarita Wilshire, Senior Manager of Customer Support at Alteryx, showed us some of the famous Tips and Tricks session she hosts at Inspire!  Every time I watch her presentation, I learn something new.    From using the new Results window options, to caching the workflow, there is something for everyone.

Colleen Hayes, Business Data Analyst at Rexnord Industries, and Customer Advisory Board member (as well as one of our Leadership Team members) provided an outstanding Alteryx Update.  Packed with information about the Alteryx Community, Industry User Groups, Alter Everything Podcasts and much more, her session featured many of the great resources available to our user group members.

To wrap up the meeting, the Public Sector User Group Leadership Team of Heather Harris, Alteryx ACE, Colleen Hayes, CAB Member, and Deanna Sanchez, Alteryx ACE showcased highlights from the amazing Inspire Nashville Conference.  Over 5,000 attendees gathered in Music City, USA to gain knowledge from training, insight from speaker sessions, solutions from the Alteryx Lab, and many new friends, as well as enjoy good times with fellow Alteryx enthusiasts!  A list of new features of version 2019.2, released during Inspire, was provided along with a glimpse of future landscapes for the remarkable Alteryx product.
