This sample app demonstrates a basic cannibalization analysis between two stores. It requires the user to select a drivetime trade area for the potential store, then compares that to a 5 minute drivetime trade area for an existing location.
The principle achievement of this model is that it divides the shared area between the existing and potential locations, then separates the shared point of sale surface into proximity ranges based on distance to the existing or potential store location. The sales figures that correspond to the divided surface are then scaled based on proximity to the existing or potential location.
